This annual membership allows us to freely promote you and up to five of your books thoughout our two websites, AuthorIsland.com and AuthorScene.com, not to mention at any shows or conventions which we attend throughout your membership year.

Minimum features include:

Book listing(s). Individually profiled, available in directory search and genre search. Cross-promoted as 'featured' selection at interval. Each one includes a buy link and are crosslinked to your author page.

Author Page. This is a profile on you and your works and it links to a more expanded page, if you wish to include extra material. It is a great place to add a letter to your readers. We crosslink from your author page directly to your books and your own website.  We even give readers your contact email address, if you wish.

Contributing Author status on AuthorScene.com. We can put you 'on assignment' to come up with some stories for our popular ezine or you can just share existing articles you have written which relate to your genre or anything you think may be of interest to our readers. It's a powerful way to bond with readers. AuthorScene.com is a series of 15 concise and easy to read 'ezines' specifically targeted to a fiction genre. We use opt-in newsletters to announce and promote new magazines as they are published, so it's a terrific way to reach whole communities of fans who otherwise may never learn about you at all.

Featured Author. At least once per year, we make you the star of AuthorScene.com. You will be the Spotlight Author and it will be the perfect time for your readers to get to know you better and hear about your latest book. Chat Programs.  A scheduled chat is an optional program that allows you to announce your availablity to discuss any topic you wish to cover with our readers, using our chat system. It's all about bringing readers and writers together. Not to mention, it's great fun!

Author Island Radio.  A standard feature at AuthorIsland.com is the recording and publishing of a ten to fifteen minute audio interview with you. This feature is often sold seperately by our competitors for more than the cost of our membership alone!  We'll also publish a printed interview for those readers who would rather learn more about you that way. The questions will be different so readers will be able to enjoy both.  The most valuable thing about Author Island Radio is that your audio interview will be available 24/7 during the entire time of your membership, not just the week or month you are the guest author.  We also have a show available to our listeners that reads off the back cover blurbs of our members' books and is sure to be a big hit with our visitors. 

Contests. We will promote any contest you have running on your own website, which of course, links to and promotes your website, and we will also run our own contests constantly to help build even more excitement with our readers.  It is not required, however, if you wish to supply some prizes for the contests on our site (autographed books, free downloads, gift cards or baskets, etc.), we will prominently promote you on our contest page when your prize is offered, as well as list it in our monthly newsletter and the day the contest goes live - it will be announced on our front page - a lot of exposure for the cost of a prize.

Advertising. Your banner ad (1) can be run throughout our site for no additional charge. We can also make many more promotional services available to you a la carte, such as website services and printed promotional material. We are here to help, so just let us know what else you may need.
